In the low temperature test, the Xiaomi YU7 achieved a durability rate of 83.6%, surpassing Tesla Model Y with 81.9% and Ideal i6 which achieved a resistance rate of 82%Specifically, Xiaomi's YU7 covered a total of 687 km in relation to the nominal autonomy of 835 km — that is, 200 km more than Tesla's Model Y, which managed to travel just 469.8 km.
The test was carried out in Beijing Fifth Ring Road, simulating everyday travel conditions. Temperatures ranged between 3°C and 13°C and the weather was cloudy. Each vehicle was carrying three adult passengers, including the driver.
To ensure a fair comparison, all vehicles were driven in energy-efficient programs that maintained normal driving behavior. The air conditioning was set to 23°C on automatic, kinetic energy recovery was maximized, and unnecessary energy-consuming functions were deactivated.

The test ended when a vehicle’s displayed range or charge level reached 0%, or when its power output limited the vehicle to just 40 km/h or less. The testers then continued to drive the vehicles until each battery was completely depleted, recording the final mileage.
The results highlight its impressive energy efficiency and durability. Xiaomi YU7 in the cold, signaling strong battery management and system optimization. For a first-generation electric vehicle, this performance puts Xiaomi in direct competition with leading EV brands globally.
