This the record was broken in just 230 days since the car's launch, marking the fastest production increase for any new electric car maker.
In fact, the company is preparing for the delivery of more than 120.000 units of SU7 until the end of the year, but also the additional expansion of production at its factory, due to the continuously increasing demand that the car has in China.
Xiaomi managed to sell 20.726 units of SU7 in one month (October last year) and rose straight to the top of the sales ranking among new sedans priced above 200.000 yuan.
Such high demand has forced Xiaomi to raise the percentage of its factory's production capacity to 160%, as a result of which the company exceeded its annual target 100.000 units which he had set, much earlier than he had originally calculated.
Xiaomi will present both the SU7 as well as the SU7 Ultra for the first time in public at Guangzhou Auto Show 2024, which will last from November 15 to November 24. This exhibition will also feature all nine color options for the SU7, which have attracted attention from both the media and the public.
