The Pad 8 by Xiaomi seems to be preparing for its global debut, as a new Geekbench listing indicates that the device is ready to become available in Europe as well
The international variant of the tablet has now appeared in the database. Geekbench, confirming that Xiaomi is preparing to make the full Pad 8 series available in more markets. Until now, the series was only available in China, where it was launched in September 2025 along with his turn Xiaomi 17.

In terms of device performance, the tablet scores a little more than 2,000 points in single-core tests and about 6,100 points on multiple cores. This places it comfortably ahead of the Xiaomi Pad 7 with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, which recorded 1,877 and 5,106 points in single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
In everyday use, this should translate into smoother multitasking and better performance in heavier applications, where tablets tend to show their limits.
The software version is listed as Android 16, which likely means that the device will be released with Xiaomi's newest HyperOS 3 version.
If we assume that the global version of the Pad 8 will have the same specifications as the Chinese model, then the Pad 8 should have 11.2 inch LCD screen at a rate of renewal 144 Hz, great battery at 9,200 mAh and ewired charging at 45 W.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav suggested that Xiaomi could launch the Pad 8 series globally in early March 2026, probably MWC 2026 which will take place in Barcelona.
