Xiaomi quietly launched in Europe (and in GREECE) the A24i 2026 Monitor – a low-cost monitor but with rich specifications
The refreshed display has officially become available in more regions, including parts of Europe and Southeast AsiaIt's not a major upgrade over last year's model, however, the changes this time around are a bit more noticeable than usual, especially for a display in this price range.
The basic features of the screen remain the same as last year's model. It still features 23.8-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution, which we would expect in this price range. However, the new 2026 version of the screen has a larger refresh rate to 144 Hz from 100 Hz.
This doesn't sound dramatic on paper, however in use, movements seem a little smoother, whether it's just scrolling through pages or playing games.
The contrast ratio is now rated at 1,500:1 and Xiaomi says the panel is factory calibrated with Delta E below 1. In theory, this should mean more accurate color reproduction. Brightness has also been increased slightly and is now in the 300 nitsIt's not a huge jump, but it will help you a little more if you're using this monitor in a well-lit room.
The rest of the display specs remain pretty much the same as last year's model. The design is still slim, with fairly thin bezels, and it retains the wide viewing angles typical of IPS panels. It features HDMI and DisplayPort ports for connectivity. There is also certification T LowV Low Blue Light, which is always nice to have if you spend many hours in front of the screen.
Pricing is where the most interest is focused, as depending on the country, it sells for around $90 to $125 (~ €78 to €108). In our country, the screen is priced at 99,89€ at the time of writing this article, making this monitor very affordable, especially for a monitor that has maximum refresh rate at 144 Hz.
Overall, it seems like a small but sensible upgrade. Nothing fancy, but a few tweaks that really matter if you're just looking for a reliable and affordable monitor.
