Xiaomi has raised the bar in smartphone photography with the launch of “Xiaomi Master Experience”

Xiaomi unveils its new concept of mobile photography, with the “Xiaomi Master Experience”, a multi-day immersive photographic exploration of humanity. Harnessing the power of Xiaomi 15 series smartphones, designed in collaboration with Leica, fleeting moments of human emotion are transformed into timeless stories through innovative technology and the creative vision of their ever-growing photographic community.
A new era in smartphone media photography
As we enter the new era of photography in 2025 with the development of the Xiaomi 15 series, Xiaomi believes that the most powerful images are those born not from perfection, but from freedom and authenticity.

A new vision for mobile photography
Inspired by humanitarian photography, they have now embarked on a photographic project that aims to capture some of the most powerful images of humanity by exploring three key themes that lie at the heart of the human narrative story:
- our triumphs
- our passions
- and our biggest challenges.
The journey to Xiaomi Master Experience
The Xiaomi Master Experience began with global photographers invited to capture the vibrant energy of "Zurich Rock 'n' Roll Running Series in Madrid», where Xiaomi was an official sponsor for 2025. The raw determination, intensity and moments of emotional release of the runners were authentically captured during the marathon, using the Xiaomi 15 series to transform fleeting moments of emotion into vivid stories of human triumphs.
The journey continued with "Humanity: Taste of Emotions", an immersive exhibition where photographs taken through the original Xiaomi 15 series lens met high-end creative gastronomy. In a series of intimate groups, visitors were invited to get a “taste” of human passions. They explored three curated photographic installations that each celebrated a different powerful human emotion: euphoria, surprise, and love. After the photographer of each collection explained the story behind their artworks, visitors were served a dish inspired by the photographs that attempts to condense each emotion.
The final leg of this Master Experience journey culminated with "Humanity: Emotions in Focus", an inspiring gathering dedicated to creativity and the exchange of ideas from different cultures and perspectives. The acclaimed photographer Jonas bendiksen, recipient of major awards from World Press Photo, the International Center of Photography, the National Magazine Awards and the Pictures of the Year International, took to the stage and presented his collection of photos inspired by humanity together with a group of top photographers from around the world gathered by Xiaomi.
“For me, photography is a way of exploring the world – an excuse to follow my curiosity wherever it leads… But just as often, photography is a way of reflecting on the familiar and familiar,” he says ο Jonas bendiksen"Maybe these photos are just a reminder to myself – to be grateful for what is here, right now."
In collaboration with Photo Vogue, a global platform celebrating the most interesting voices in contemporary photography and led by Alessia Glaviano, head of Global PhotoVogue, the award-winning documentary and fashion photographer and director Claudia Revidat revealed her photography collection that explored one of humanity's greatest challenges, our relationship with nature. She explained how she discovered photography as a powerful language for expressing emotions.
"Exploring humanity through photography is about capturing emotional layers that live beneath the surface. I approach this through intimacy, instinct, and the invisible threads that connect personal memory to collective experience," says the Claudia Revidat, photographer and director of the global PhotoVogue community.
The Global Photography Community
This year, Xiaomi has taken significant new steps in continuing to deepen and expand its global photography community.
Based on the established order Xiaomi Master Class and the program Xiaomi Creators, began 2025 by launching three new strategic initiatives focused on photography.
