Xiaomi continues to expand its smart home ecosystem with the launch of Mijia 10kg front-loading washing machine
Mijia's new washing machine is now available for pre-order in China at a starting price of just 1,199 yuan (~ $ 174 / € 150The new appliance combines minimalist aesthetics, impressive cleaning performance and advanced smart features, setting new standards in the budget washing machine market.
The specifications of the Mijia 10kg Front-Load washing machine
The washing machine has a compact body at 516 mm, which fits nicely into standard 600mm cabinets. Xiaomi has included a built-in installation 15mm micro-gap to provide a seamless fit in the cabinet and reduce dust accumulation. The control panel uses a simple rotary knob and key interface for easy operation.
It has 525 mm drum for improved cleaning and reduced mess, 3D water flow system for effective removal of dirt and residue and a detergent premix compartment to prevent residue buildup on clothes.
Xiaomi included 35 stain removal options, 24 wash programs for different fabrics and one DD direct-drive engine for silent operation. It has six-dimensional vibration reduction, seven-layer soundproofing and nano-antibacterial door seal with antibacterial percentage 99,9% for improved hygiene.
The washing machine supports Xiaomi's HyperOS Connect, allowing control via the app Mijia or the voice assistant XiaoAI. It integrates with smart home features such as notifications, automated drying rack settings, and lighting coordination after a wash cycle. It also supports software updates via OTA for continuous functionality improvements.
Xiaomi provides 3 years for the washing machine and 10 year warranty on the engine.
