Xiaomi doesn't seem willing to slow down the pace at which it plans to release new electric cars
After the success of the SU7 Ultra sedan and the launch of the YU7 SUV, Xiaomi Auto is already testing a new Super Car version: the YU7 Ultra, one 1.548 horsepower electric SUV which promises to redefine the concept of performance in the family category.

The first leaked images show a vehicle with a sober yet sporty design, with enlarged domes to accommodate 21 inch wheels and one ceramic brake system with six-piston calipers, which inherited it directly from the SU7 Ultra.
There are no flashy spoilers or aggressive aerodynamic accessories : Xiaomi seems to be focusing on a sleek aesthetic, but with technical details that suggest a huge power under the hood.
The YU7 Ultra will be equipped with same three-motor system as the SU7 Ultra, capable of performing torque 1.770 Nm and be powered by a battery high efficiency at 93,7 kWhDespite the estimated weight of approximately 2.400 kilograms, the SUV is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2,5 seconds, with the top speed limited to 300 km/h. Performance that would make it the fastest production SUV in the world.

Visually, the rear retains the design line of the standard version of the YU7, with minimal changes to the bumper and a slightly elongated rear spoiler, discreetly integrated into the roof profile. lowered chassis and widened track confirm the sporty nature of the model, which could also be tested on the Nürburgring track to set new records.
Η expected price for YU7 Ultra will be around 80.000 euro, twice as much as the Max version, but still competitive when you consider that its performance exceeds that of multi-million euro Supercars. The official launch of the model is expected in late 2025, with first deliveries expected in the second quarter of 2026.

Therefore, it seems that Xiaomi wants to prove once again that it wants to play a leading role in the electric car market, focusing on technology, performance and accessibility.
