Xiaomi expands the range again Smart Home devices — this time with a new vacuum cleaner that's smarter than it looks
The new vacuum cleaner Xiaomi G30 Max appeared on the company's global website, hinting at an imminent global launch of the device. This new model promises powerful suction, smart dirt detection, and a few neat touches that make cleaning less of a chore.
This vacuum cleaner can deliver suction power of up to 280 AW (25,000 Pa) — which is approximately 50% stronger than the older G11 model. It offers three functions cleaning: Eco, Auto and Turbo.
In automatic mode, it can automatically adjust suction based on how dirty the surface is, with a colored line on the digital screen which shows how much dust it collects. There is also a integrated LED light near the brush head to help you locate hidden dirt even in darker corners or under furniture.
Dust and air are separated through a 14 cone cyclone system, supported by a five-stage filtration setting which Xiaomi says it is capturing 99.98% of fine particlesThe vacuum cleaner comes with seven components in the package — including an anti-tangle brush bar, a sofa brush, and a brush for your pets.
The battery life also seems impressive, with the 4.000 mAh cell providing up to 90 minutes of operation in Eco mode or about 70 minutes with the electric brush bar connected. Replacement filters will be sold separately as G30 Max filter kit.
Xiaomi has not yet announced release dates or pricing for the global market, but the global listing suggests that an official announcement is not far off.
