After the release of HyperOS, unfortunately for some users, they will have to wait for the Xiaomi or Redmi Their devices will be one step closer in the EoL (on End of Life), especially if they are quite old.
The term EOL (end of life) or EOS (End Of Support) used for a smartphone that officially will no longer receive updates, nor for its operating system MIUI or HyperOS of Xiaomi, but not for upgrading to new Android versions.
So, after the unofficial lists we saw several days ago, now we have it for you official list published by Xiaomi itself, for all smartphones that will no longer receive updates on Android, but also security code updates.
What does the EOS list from Xiaomi mean?
If you have a Xiaomi device included in the list EOS by Xiaomi, you will no longer receive new updates from the company. This includes the security updates from Google, so it is important to be aware of the risks of using an old device. While Xiaomi devices are generally very secure, older devices may be more vulnerable to malware. Therefore, if you have a Xiaomi device that is on Xiaomi's EOS list, we recommend upgrading to a newer model.

Overview of product support policy
We make every effort to provide continuous security updates for our smartphones, covering the Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices. Security updates generally include the latest security patches, security vulnerability fixes, and other security improvements. Typically, we retain security updates for at least 2 years after a particular device model was first shipped.
We regularly publish and update the product list on end of life cycle (EOL) below to help you check if your smartphone can receive security updates. We also provide detailed software support information for some products on the Product Software Support Information page.
- Security updates cover product software (firmware), pre-installed software, software that implements essential product functions, and external control software.
- We may support security updates for 3 years or more for some models, subject to actual conditions.
- If a very serious security vulnerability is discovered, we may also provide you with the necessary security patches, even if your device is on the EOL product list.
Devices for which support has been completely discontinued (EOS – EOL / May 28, 2025)
We are no longer updating software or firmware updates (including security updates) for products on the EOS list of products listed below, and we may no longer respond to security vulnerability reports for these devices.

Mi 11 Ultra is not in EOL list, just checked
I have never seen such a terrible company. Redmi Note 10 Pro is what to add to the EOL list! This is how STRONG not to give hyperos to this device!!!!! It's a shame for a company that says and claims that it is, I am a very old APPLE user, I turned to ANDROID models because of the increasing prices, but I really regret it, it is not a problem, after all, I will change my phone in 6 months or 1 year at most. Of course, I will definitely not buy the XIAOMI brand and I will not recommend it. Get well soon. You are losing customers XIAOMI!!!
I haven't seen Redmi Note 10 Pro EOL listesine eklemek nedir! bu ıdaza hyperos vermemek bu kadar GÜÇLÜ!!!!! It's very embarrassing for a company that claims to be, and I'm an old APPLE user, because of the increased prices, I turned to the ANDROID model, but I really regretted it, it's not a problem, the result is that I'll change my phone in more than 6 months or 1 year, I'll change my phone to the XIAOMİ brand, I definitely agree, and I recommend it because it's gone. you lose customer XİAOMİ !!!
It's a real shame that REDMI NOTE 10 PRO doesn't receive the new Operating System.
Non ho received più NULLA, però at least one other update could be sent....!!!!
Scusi volevo sapere se ci sono aggiornamento per redmi 9c perché non so come sono rimasto ad Android 10 ea MIUI global 12.0.14
But what about the Redmi 9A?
Is there any possibility to update for Xiaomi Mi Max 2, from Android 7 to Android 10, as well as for MIUI 12?
How about Redmi 9 (ID)

Your device has not been updated to MIUI 14 but has definitely been updated to MIUI 13.
Try doing what describes the following article and it could help you get the most recent ROM

Good evening on redmi note 9 when miui 14 because it has many problems can they be fixed?
It is a matter of days for the MIUI 14 ROM to be released for the Redmi Note 9 as well, as all the other devices in the Redmi Note 14 series have already received the MIUI 9
Good Evening ! I have owned a Redmi 9T for about a year and a half now. miui is on 12.5 and android on 11 .
What's going on and it hasn't been upgraded yet? Thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing from you.
Michael, basically the RedMi 9 & Redmi Note 9 line has entered EON/EOL status which means it is towards the end of support for upgrades.
From what I see, the latest versions that have been released on MIUI 13 (Android 12) are…
EEA/EU ROM >> miui_LIMEEEAGlobal_V13.0.1.0.SJQEUXM_789f44b99a_12.0.zip
Global ROM >> miui_LIMEGlobal_V13.0.2.0.SJQMIXM_06b44f7aa8_12.0.zip
But there is a possibility that the device will get MIUI 14 which will be the last upgrade for the device.
If you've been stuck on Android 11, something else has happened as the above updates to Android 12 are available from December 2022.
