Xiaomi has launched the new Electric Scooter 6 Lite globally, which is the cheapest model in its new Electric Scooter 6 series.
The new Electric Scooter 6 Lite is quite a bit lower in terms of price than the Scooter 6 and 6 Max, and is designed for short trips within the city.
The scooter has a brushless electric motor with continuous power at 300W and maximum power at 500W. The top speed is 25 km/h and it can climb hills with a slope of up to 15 percent. The 216 Wh ternary lithium battery from which it is powered gives you a range of 25 kilometers in Standard mode at 15 kilometers or so 20 kilometers in Sport mode at full speed.
For handling rough roads, it features double leaf spring front suspension at 25 mm and 10 inch pneumatic tiresFor safe braking it uses a front drum brake and rear E-ABS systemIt has a 2.5W front headlight that gives you light up to 15 meters ahead, while the rear brake light flashes when you brake.
It has three speed modes:
- Pedestrian in 6 km/h
- Standard in 15 km/h
- and Sport in 25 km / h.
A display between the handlebars shows your speed, riding mode and battery level. Connect it to the app Xiaomi Home to check range, battery status, trip history, tire pressure, lock the motor and adjust energy recovery.
It is constructed with a high-strength carbon structural steel frame and supports rider weight up to 100 kg. The scooter weighs 18,1 kg and is ideal for riders between 1,40 and 2,00 meters tall aged from 16 to 50 years. It has water resistance IPX4 for the body and IPX6 for the battery.
When the Scooter is folded it measures: 1140 x 512 x 555mm. Xiaomi has not yet announced its price.
