Xiaomi: Changes its plans in India, and the Pad 8 will be released before the Xiaomi 17 series

Xiaomi adjusts its India launch schedule for the Xiaomi pad 8 and his turn Xiaomi 17

The display supports adaptive refresh rate in 144 Hz with maximum brightness at 800 nitsIt also offers support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, along with color depth in 12 bit.

The Pad 8 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC Qualcomm based on a manufacturing process in 4nm, in combination with LPDDR5X RAMStorage options include: 128GB with UFS 3.1 or the 256 GB / 512 GB as quickly as possible UFS 4.1.

The tablet runs on HyperOS 3, Xiaomi's latest software platform, which adds split-screen multitasking, workstation mode, PC-like drag-and-drop browsing, and several artificial intelligence tools like AI Writing, AI Translate and AI Art.

Xiaomi's 17 Series

At 11 March, Xiaomi will launch in India the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, however the Leica-branded Ultra version available in some global markets will not be made available in India.

There will also be a difference in battery size depending on the region. While the Chinese variants of the Ultra models feature 6,800 mAh batteries, the global and Indian versions are equipped with batteries in the 6,000 mAh.

A new post on the Indian microsite confirms that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will support wired charging HyperCharge at 90W and wireless HyperCharge at 50WAnother feature that Xiaomi is highlighting is offline communication, which will allow voice calls without a network for up to 1.9 kilometers, using Bluetooth and Xiaomi's proprietary protocols.
