In a Xiaomi Auto update aimed at enthusiastic drivers, the company officially unveiled two premium customization options for the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: a refined Twilight Rose paint finish and a professional-grade, three-speed adjustable carbon fiber rear fender.
These updates are being made available exclusively for the Chinese market, underscoring the company's commitment to providing technology "Track to Road» for the top EV performance sedan.
Aerodynamics and Aesthetics Engineering
The highlight of this update is the new adjustable carbon fiber rear wing, which is designed to balance energy efficiency with high-speed stability.
According to technical data provided by Xiaomi, the wing features a specialized arm system that allows for three different angle settings. Each setting significantly changes the vehicle's aerodynamic profile:
- Efficiency mode (angle 10°): Increases the cruising range of the CLTC by 24,5 km while providing 75,9 kg of downforce.
- Balanced operation (5° angle): Increases cruising range CLTC by 20 kilometers while increasing the downforce to 127,1 kilograms.
- Performance mode (0° deviation): Provides maximum vertical force 176 kg, optimized for track cornering and high-speed stability, with an increase in autonomy of 13,5 kilometers.
Xiaomi notes that adjusting these corners requires professional tools and should be performed by certified technicians to ensure optimal safety and performance.
Twilight Rose paint finish
The new Twilight Rose paint finish is inspired by Damascus rose. It uses a complex layer of color paste, metallic powder and pearls to create a "chameleon" effect.
Under bright light, the car displays warm red tones, while in lower light or backlight conditions, it shifts to a deep, hazy purple twilight.
