Its next smartphones Xiaomi “17T” series may have quietly appeared in the database IMEI
The data recorded in the IMEI database shows two devices listed with the model numbers 2602EPTC0G and 2602EPTC0R, and according to what is claimed by the XiaomiTime, these devices are likely the upcoming Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro that will become available on the world market.
The “T” series has usually represented the respective Redmi K series devices that become available in China, and they usually launch in the second half of the year. For example, Xiaomi only launched the 15T series in late September 2025, and now the series’ successors have already started appearing on certification sites.
Xiaomi 17T series may be released in February
However, it remains unclear whether Xiaomi will refer to the device as 16T or 17TThe company skipped the number 16 for its flagship and jumped straight to the series 17 to align with the order Apple iPhone 17.
The most interesting thing is that the XiaomiTime notes that the “2602” prefix in the model numbers could mean a release for the February of 2026. Much earlier than the usual T-series phones, if that's the case. Last but not least, the devices are said to carry the codenames "chagall" and "warhol".
The Xiaomi 17t could be powered by the chipset Dimensity 8500 by MediaTekWhile 17T Pro can use the strongest Dimensity 9500Comparatively, the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro they feature Mediatek's Dimensity 8400 and Dimensity 9400+ SoCs respectively.
