Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra: Officially launched in India

After debuting in global markets last month, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra have now been launched in India.


Both smartphones come with specifications identical to the respective global versions of the devices.

The Xiaomi 17Ultra costs INR 1,39,999 (~ $ 1,525) for the unique 16GB/512GB version. As part of a early bird offer which will last from March 13 to March 17, customers in India will receive the Xiaomi Professional Photography Kit at no extra cost.

The phone will be released in India from 18 March and will be available via Amazon and Xiaomi's official online store. It will be offered in black and white color options.

Xiaomi 17Ultra

Η Ultra version carries the same specifications as the global model. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and features 6.9 inch LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The device has 6,000 mAh battery with support for wired charging 90 W and wireless charging 50 W.

The device features a Leica-branded rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP 1-inch main sensor, One 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and continuous optical zoom and a ultrawide module at 50MPThe phone also features 50MP front selfie camera and has certification IP66 and IP65 Rating for dust and water resistance.

Meanwhile, the compact Xiaomi 17 starts at INR 89,999 (~ $ 980) for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the 12GB/512GB model costs INR 99,999 (~ $ 1,090As part of an early bird offer running from March 13th to March 17th, buyers will be able to get their hands on the model 512 GB at the same price as the 256 GB variant.

The Xiaomi 17 is also powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, but has a smaller 6.3 inch LTPO OLED display at a rate of renewal 120 Hz and maximum brightness up to 3,500 nits. Packs 6,330 mAh battery with support for wired charging 100 W and wireless charging 50W.
