How to deal with a problem
- If you have a device or account in mainland China, you should apply to the Chinese community.
- If you have a Global user account that is old and cannot unlock the bootloader, please contact private message at official Xiaomi community HERE.
- Please wait up to 2 days after unlock permission is granted, otherwise the unlock process may fail.
This device is not activated, please activate it and try to unlock it again. (From Mi Unlock Tool)
This error can occur if:
- Your device information is not available in your Mi Account.
- You have not purchased or repaired your device through official Xiaomi channels.
How to deal with a problem
- Make sure you always use the official purchase and service channels.

This error can occur if:

- Your account has been logged in black list.

This error can occur if:

- Your Global account has not been active for more than 30 days and is not connected to a “real device".
- Your global account has been logged into black list or has been affected by server problems.
- You have an account at mainland China.
- Your device's sales order information is unavailable.
- You have not purchased or repaired your device through official Xiaomi channels.
- You didn't wait until 2 days after receiving the unlock license.
How to deal with a problem
- If you have a device or account in mainland China, please apply to the Chinese community.
- Make sure your account is active (logged in) on your device for more than 30 days.
- Send a private message to official Xiaomi community HERE if you want to check if your account is blacklisted or having server problems or if your device purchase order is available.
- Make sure you always use the official purchase and service channels.
- Please wait up to 2 days after unlock permission is granted, otherwise the unlock process may fail.
Account Error – Try again after XX/XX (mm/dd) (Xiaomi Community APP)
This error can occur if:
- Your Global account has not been active for more than 30 daysand has not been connected to a “real device”.
- Your Global account has been affected by server problems.
How to deal with a problem
- Make sure your account is active (logged in) on your device for more than 30 days.
- Send a private message to official Xiaomi community HERE with your account information if it still exists or server problems.
The system is being upgraded. Please try again later. (Unlocked status)
This error can occur if:
- You are using a device Redmi Note 13 Series.
