Samsung has just made official a new addition to the Galaxy Z family and the foldable smartphone market, the new Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold.
The new Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, is the first tri-fold device from Samsung and comes equipped with one of the largest screens we've seen on foldable Galaxy devices.
One of the notable main features of the new foldable is the use double titanium hinges, which fully protect the foldable screen when not in use. The screen is fully open at 10 inches and offers resolution at 2,160 × 1,584 pixels with variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and maximum brightness at 1,600 nits.
On the top right of the large screen of the Galaxy Z TriFold, there is a small notch in which the front selfie camera at 10MPAdditionally, as has been observed on other Galaxy Z series devices, the screen comes with a protective film placed on it.
The external screen of the foldable is on 6.5 inches with a resolution of 2,520×1,080 pixels, variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and aspect ratio 21: 9Its maximum brightness is at 2,600 nits and comes equipped with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protective glass for protection. Finally, it also has a front selfie camera at 10MP.
In the software part, the responsible party is OneUI 8 which is version based Android 16. Finally, the photography part is taken care of by a triple camera setup which consists of main camera at 200MP (ISOCELL HP2), 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and wide-angle lens at 12MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will be available in a single shade called Crafted Black At launch, pricing for the device has not been revealed, and it is reported that it will initially be released in Korea on December 12. The device will be coming to other markets worldwide later.
