With the official launch just around the corner, Xiaomi has revealed the significant upgrades that both the new gaming smartphone and the next-generation REDMI tablet will have.
REDMI K90 Max
The REDMI K90 Max is positioned as a true high-performance gaming flagship, bringing what the company describes as a “dual-core air-cooled processor” setup. This approach focuses on delivering stronger and more stable performance during heavy gaming sessions, especially for users who push their devices to the limit. The combination of advanced cooling and high-performance hardware aims to ensure smoother gameplay, even in the most demanding scenarios.
Sophisticated ecosystem with high renewal rate
Gaming fluidity will be another important feature of the K90 Max, as it features a high refresh rate display at 165 Hz, which is designed to deliver extremely smooth graphics across all supported titles.
REDMI also places a lot of emphasis on high refresh rate, meaning the device will have better optimization between hardware and software to maintain stable frame rates and responsiveness during gameplay.
Improved eye protection for gamers
Long gaming sessions are often accompanied by eye strain and REDMI addresses this with upgraded protection features. The device supports Green Mountain Eye Protection 3.0, together with DC dimming for smooth, flicker-free graphics.
Also included is a newly adapted eye protection mode for gaming, which helps reduce harmful blue light while maintaining screen clarity during extended use.

K Pad 2 focuses on performance and control
Alongside the smartphone, REDMI is also preparing to introduce the K Pad 2, a performance-focused tablet built with Gamers in mind.
It is expected to bring improvements to the display refresh rate, touch response, and battery life, making it suitable for gaming.
