Xiaomi, through the Redmi series, is preparing to present a new powerful smartphone with a clear orientation towards gaming
The REDMI K90 Max confirmed to make its debut in China on 21 April, following a series of teasers from the company released today.
165Hz display for ultimate gaming
The REDMI K90 Max comes with impressive display features that are clearly aimed at gamers, such as 6.83-inch display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, brightness up to 3500 nits, support up to 165fps in games and 3500Hz touch sampling (instant) & 480Hz multi-touch.
Xiaomi says the device can support high FPS in over 40 games, offering an extremely smooth user experience.
Built-in cooling system with fan
One of the most distinctive features of the K90 Max is the active cooling systemThis system has a built-in high-efficiency fan offering temperature reduction of up to 10°C in 100 seconds, while keeping the noise low, which does not exceed ~32dBThe new design offers strong airflow inside the device that significantly improves thermal performance, something critical for prolonged gaming.
Performance and hardware (expected)
Although not all features have been confirmed, information suggests that the upcoming REDMI K90 Max will have:
- Processor Dimensity 9500 by Mediatek

- Fast charging up to 100W
- Stereo speakers with adjustment from the Bose
- Certifications IP66 / IP68 / IP69 Rating for dust and water resistance
All of the above indicates that the smartphone seems to be aimed at power users with high demands on autonomy and performance.
Design and construction
The REDMI K90 Max adopts a more “gaming” aesthetics and the device becomes available in Space Silverr color, has aluminum alloy frame, dual rear camera and Minimal design with thin bezels, while the presence of the fan gives it a more industrial and performance-oriented look.
