Redmi is preparing to expand its range with the new TWS headphone model REDMI Buds 8 Pro, which is expected to be available soon in European markets
The REDMI Buds 8 Pro are the next generation of Redmi wireless headphones with an emphasis on sound quality, active noise cancellation and cutting-edge technology traditionally found in more expensive models.
What stands out about the Buds 8 Pro

- Spatial & Dolby Audio Support: They offer immersive sound with Spatial Audio and Dolby Audio for a cinematic experience.
- High-resolution audio codecs: Codecs supported SBC, AAC, LHDC-V5 and MIHC for better wireless audio transmission.
- Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): Deep passive and active noise cancellation up to 55 dB, with optimized performance in noisy environments.
- Battery autonomy: Approximately 8,5 hours of playback on a single charge and up to ~35 hours total with the case.
- Connectivity & Features: Bluetooth 5.4, ability to connect to two devices simultaneously and smart audio streaming with easy switching.
The charging case even has special LED lighting that indicates the battery status when it is opened or closed.
Availability & Price
The initial release of REDMI Buds 8 Pro made in China with a price of around 399 yuan (~ 57 USD), while Redmi has confirmed that a wider launch, including European markets, is just around the corner.

The headphones are already starting to appear on some European lists, such as in Czech Republic and Germany, which is a sure sign that a wider global release is just around the corner. We've been seeing them listed in a few stores for about € 59 (around $63 USD), with some retailers even offering pre-order discounts with a price around €54–60 and the first deliveries are expected on March of 2026.
Although the exact launch date in Europe has not yet been made public by the company, it is expected to accompany future events and international product launches by Xiaomi/Redmi in the coming months.
How They Compare to Other Buds
The Buds 8 Pro are placed higher compared to the more “lite” models in the series (such as the Redmi Buds 8 Lite which is already official in Europe at a more affordable price), offering stronger ANC reduction and more advanced sound technologies.

The result is that they gain a competitive position against some other premium TWS headphones in the same price category or above it — without, however, an official price in Europe having been announced yet.
Final Thoughts
Post Redmi Buds 8 Pro, Redmi raises the bar for the category of value-for-money TWS earphones, combining advanced sound, powerful ANC and features often found in more expensive ranges. Their European arrival is expected to appeal to users who want great sound and functionality without breaking their budget.
We will update you as soon as there are official announcements about the price and release date in European stores!
