Xiaomi quietly launched in China, a cheaper version of REDMI Book Pro 16 2025 in China, priced at 6199 yuan (~$857 USD)
Initially, Xiaomi was launched in China on February 27th. REDMI Book Pro 16 2025, which was made available in two models. Now, however, a newer model with reduced screen specifications is now available for purchase at JD.com.
This newer version is powered by Intel Ultra 5-225H processor, has 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB SSD, and is priced at 6199 yuan (~$857 USDHowever, through a national subsidy that only applies in China, the price is further reduced to 4959,2 yuan (~$685 USD).
The main specifications of the new REDMI Book Pro 16 2025
The biggest difference compared to the original model is in the screen, as it offers 2.5K resolution (2560×1600) and not the 3.1K resolution that the regular version has. The screen has 120 Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness and covers against 100% the color palette in sRGB.
This laptop maintains Xiaomi's sleek minimalist design and durable build, weighing just 1,88 kg, and is powered by an imposing battery at 99 Wh which supports extended periods of productivity.
