Xiaomi presented today in China the new laptops REDMI Book 14 2025 and REDMI Book 16 2025
These new models are made from durable aluminum alloy and have CNC machined hinges, ensuring consistent build quality. Both laptops have a beautiful and stylish design, with the REDMI Book 14 to weigh 1,36 Kg. and be thick 15,9 millimetersWhile REDMI Book 16 weighs 1,65 Kg., maintaining the same thickness.
REDMI Book 14 2025
The REDMI Book 14 2025 has 14-inch IPS LCD screen with analysis 2.8K (2880×1800 pixels), refresh rate 120 Hz, aspect ratio 16:10 and brightness at 400 nits. It offers 100% coverage in the color range sRGB and the display is certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue light emission and flicker-free restful viewing. The refresh rate dynamically adjusts between 60Hz and 120Hz for better performance and longer battery life.
The REDMI Book 14 2025 powered by the processor Intel 5th Gen Core i220-13H, is equipped with up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 4.0 TB PCIe 1 SSD, which work with Windows 11 pre-installed.
For better cooling, the laptop is equipped with a dual fan cooling system for better heat management and also has the “Fn+K Performance Selection Mode” for quick switching between quiet, balanced and high performance operation.
The Smart Battery AI improves energy efficiency, increasing battery life by up to 22,6% during video calls. The device is powered by one battery at 56Wh which provides up to 13,8 hours of use, an improvement by 9,6% compared to its predecessor and supports fast charging at 50% in just 32 minutes with a charger GaN 100W.
REDMI Book 16 2025
The REDMI Book 16 2025 has 16-inch IPS LCD screen analysis 2.5K (2560×1600 pixels) with a refresh rate 120Hz. It offers a screen-to-body ratio 90,4% it comes with ultra-slim bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience. Like the REDMI Book 14, this monitor has 100% coverage in the sRGB color gamut, has a brightness of 400 nits and certification TUV Rheinland for low blue light emission and flicker-free restful viewing.
This model also works with the processor Intel 5th Gen Core i220-13H, with memory LPDDR5X RAM up to 32GB and 4.0 TB PCIe 1 SSD. The dual-fan cooling system is optimized by AI, improving performance by up to 19,97% in Excel and 18,24% in Photoshop. OR battery at 72Wh provides up to 19,05 hours of use and supports fast charging at 100W via a GaN adapter.
Design and durability
Both Redmi laptops a beautiful unibody design, while the full-size keyboard offers 1,3mm of key travel, it has three-level backlight. The new Redmi Laptops have 180 degree opening mechanism, providing flexibility during presentations. The company has gone through durability tests, including crash and hinge tests, that ensure these devices are built to withstand everyday use.
Ports and connectivity
Both models have a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port for high-speed data transfer and charging, HDMI 2.1 for external displays, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-A 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2. Additionally, both laptops support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for enhanced graphics and sound, with dual speakers, microphones and a 1080p camera for video calling.
Xiaomi HyperOS Connect and multi-device collaboration
Both laptops feature Xiaomi's HyperOS Connect, enabling seamless collaboration across devices including phones, tablets and even cars.
