Although we are over a week away from the official global reveal of Poco F8 Ultra, Xiaomi provides us with some additional information about the device
The Poco F8 Ultra will be presented on 26 November and will differ from its predecessor, replacing last year's Poco F7 Ultra in less than a year.
The company has now confirmed that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm's latest and greatest mobile SoC. The company claims that the Poco F8 Ultra scores 3,944,934 on AnTuTu.
Although this score is impressive, it will still fall far short of the comparatively stronger RedMagic 11 Pro Plus, OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15 which are also powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
A score close to 4 million on Antutu, makes it Poco F8 Ultra to outperform Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max at the same reference point.
But beyond the good performance in Antutu, Xiaomi also confirmed that the Poco F8 Ultra, will also be equipped with the VisionBoost D8 Chipset, which is the successor to last year's VisionBoost D7.
The company claims that the VisionBoost D8 Chipset will help the Poco F8 Ultra to create "sharper, more detailed images» using them AI Super Resolution algorithms.
