The Mix Flip 2 is set to make its debut in China, as it recently appeared on yet another online certification database.
Xiaomi released its first foldable phone last year along with the Mix Fold 4, while now it seems that the brand new Mix Flip 2 is getting closer and closer to its debut, as it recently appeared in yet another online certification database.
A new leak reveals that the Mix Flip 2 has made its appearance in China 3C certification authority, confirming that it will support the wired charging at 67W, which means there is no change compared to its predecessor.
Although the list published by the certification authority does not give us much information about the rest of the device's specifications, it does suggest that the Mix Flip 2 may debut much earlier than expected. Last year, the original Mix Flip received 3C approval in May and was officially released in July (2 months later), but since the Mix Flip 2 appeared quite early in the database 3C, it seems that Xiaomi may unveil the device in its domestic market of China earlier than expected.
The Mix Flip 2 It should also debut globally, but later, probably a month or two after its initial release in China.
According to rumors, the upcoming Mix Flip 2 Xiaomi will be powered by a battery at 5,100mAh, which is a significant upgrade over the 4,780mAh battery found in last year's Mix Flip. The device is also expected to support wired charging at 67W and wireless charging at 50W.
