One of the upgrades that stand out is the suction power at 26000Pa, which places it among the most powerful floor cleaners in the Xiaomi lineup. This high suction power allows it to handle both fine dust and larger debris more effectively on different types of floors.
The device also enters the direct steam injection at high temperature at 160°C, which helps dissolve stubborn stains while also providing deep sterilization. This makes the device particularly useful for kitchens and high-traffic areas where hygiene is a priority.
Reinforced brush system and electric assistance
Xiaomi equipped the device with a upgraded central electric assistance system, making it easier to push and maneuver during cleaning sessions. At the same time, the new PPA fine comb tooth design, helps reduce hair tangling in the roller brush, improving long-term usability and reducing maintenance.
Self-cleaning and maintenance features
To keep the device disinfected after use, it supports self-cleaning with boiling water at 100°C, ensuring that the roller brush is thoroughly washed and automatically disinfected. This reduces odor buildup and maintains consistent cleaning performance over time.
Great autonomy and usability
Η Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5 Pro offers up to 40 minutes of operating time, which is sufficient to clean medium to large homes in a single session. Combined with its cordless design, it offers a more flexible and convenient cleaning experience.
Smart integration and support of the Xiaomi ecosystem
Like most modern Mijia devices, the Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5 Pro integrates into Xiaomi's smart ecosystem, allowing users to monitor and manage usage through the app We Home, along with other connected home devices.
Price and availability
Xiaomi officially unveiled the Mijia Wireless Floor Cleaner 5 Pro exclusively in the Chinese market. The device is listed at a price of 2499 yuan (~ $ 365 / € 312), and is available with an initial starting price of 2149 yuan (~ $ 314 / € 268) and can reach up to 1934 yuan (~ $ 283 / € 241) after government subsidies in China. Sales are scheduled to begin in 19 April.
There is no official confirmation yet regarding the global launch of the device, however, the growing presence of Smart Home Xiaomi devices in other markets also suggests that there is a high possibility that similar products will become available in Europe in the future.
