Xiaomi adds another option to its Mijia robotic vacuum cleaner line, with a model that focuses on powerful suction without pushing the price too high
The new Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 4 has now become available in China and one of the main features of the device is the suction power at 10,000Pa, which places it at the highest range for robot vacuum cleaners in this price category.

The average suction power for modern robotic vacuum cleaners typically ranges between 2,500 Pa and 6,000 Pa. The 10,000 Pa offered by Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 4 should be more than enough for everyday dust, pet hair, and even the heaviest debris.
Xiaomi also insists on navigation with LDS laser, which helps the robot map rooms and move in a more structured way instead of moving randomly.

The design remains familiar: simple, white and minimal. For cleaning, there is an anti-tangle brush arrangement with a dual arrangement, aimed at reducing hair buildup, which is especially useful in homes with pets.
It is a 2-in-1 device, so it can sweep like a vacuum cleaner and mop at the same time. The dustbin has a capacity of 520 mlWhile 270 ml water containerXiaomi says it can cover up to more than 300 square meters in open spaces, although actual usage will likely vary depending on the layout of your space.

There are also some practical touches. The robot can climb thresholds of up to 20 mm, which will help it move between rooms more easily. It is powered by a built-in 5,200 mAh battery, which is capable of providing operating time up to 180 minutes.
Pricing and availability:
The price of the device is 1,443 yuan (~ $ 209 / € 182) and in some areas, government subsidies in China can even bring the price down to around 1,299 yuan (~ $ 189 / € 164). Sales are set to begin on 7 April.
