While the Mi Mix Alpha by Xiaomi first introduced to the public in 2019, this device was never made commercially available.
Ήwhen an original device of the company that presented a very innovative design and was equipped with all the High End features that a flagship should have.
A few weeks ago, however, a new patent appeared, which revealed to us a very interesting variant of the original. Mi Mix Alpha, which has dual screens and a strange one camera with Ai Zoom.
And in the past, we have seen from time to time many of its supposed variations appear Mi Mix Alpha which have been patented but have never been commercially exploited.
But this time we want to believe that things are different, and that it is very likely that we will finally see this Xiaomi patent on the market soon as a new flagship of the Mi Mix series, which has been upgraded since the release of last one Mi Mix 3 5G.
What immediately stands out in this new patent is the unique design of the device and the camera technology it has. Whereas in previous patents we have seen a device having a single screen wrapped around its body (as in the case of the original Mi Mix Alpha), in this patent we see a device that has two separate screens.
The main screen of the device, which is the largest, covers almost the entire front body, with negligible notches and chins (Bezel), but also on both sides of the device. On the back of the device, however, we see a smaller side screen, which covers a little more than half of the back, while at the top of this screen, there is this strange Module of the Ai camera of the smartphone.
This camera is characterized as a lens Hey Zoom, which according to LetsGoDigital , may have a sensor in 108 SM which can support very large magnification (Zoom).
Furthermore, the Xiaomi apparently designs two variants of this device, one with a transparent panel on the camera unit and a second with opaque black glass. So maybe we'll see two devices finally released - a simple version and a Pro, although it is still too early to say for sure.
