More than 10 Greek indie studios will represent the creativity and technological innovation of the Greek scene, with the support of EKKOMED, Enterprise Greece and EEEP
The Greek Center for Cinema, Audiovisual Media and Creativity (EKKOMED) proudly announces the participation of the National Mission in the Gamescom 2025, the largest and most recognized international exhibition in the field of digital entertainment and video games, which will take place from 20 to 24 August 2025, in Cologne, Germany.

For the first time, the National Mission is under the auspices of the Greek State, which actively supports the growing digital games industry, recognizing its importance in promoting innovation and the country's cultural extroversion.
This year's participation is a co-organization, with EKKOMED to assume the role of central coordinator in the planning and implementation of the Mission, the Enterprise Greece, as a national body for extroversion and investment attraction as well as the Gaming Supervision and Control Committee (GSC), which actively supports the transparency and healthy development of the digital gaming market in Greece.
The National Mission is supported by AEGEAN as Official Airline Sponsor and strategic partner. Sponsors of the mission are also: Endeavor Greece, which strategically supports the most promising Greek entrepreneurs in Greece and abroad, strengthening Greek entrepreneurship on the global stage, and Logitech G, as a sponsor of technological equipment (gaming hardware).

Finally, he is also a supporter of Association of Informatics & Communications Enterprises of Greece (SEPE), which connects entrepreneurship in the technology sector with the production of digital content.
The National Mission, having at its side the Greek Digital Game Developers Association (GDA), who had taken over the previous events, and the IGDA Chapter of Greece, will host over 10 Greek indie studios, presenting completed and under-development projects, revealing to the international audience a range of titles from action RPGs and narrative adventures, to tools and platforms for game developers and gamers.
The representation groups emerged following an open invitation and evaluation by industry professionals.
