A new report confirms a new partnership between Google & Apple, to provide easier switching between iOS and Android
The new collaboration between Google & Apple, aims to provide an easier data transfer for users, to switch between the two ecosystems iOS and Android.
The beginning of this new support was observed in the most recent version Android Canary, which is available from today.
Initially, this feature is available exclusively for developers and may be delayed in releases. Android BetaThe important thing is that the whole project has already started and sooner or later, it is expected to come to the more stable versions of the Android operating system.
On the other hand, the Apple intends to incorporate this specific function into the future iOS 26 beta versionThis will result in the provision of additional functionality as well as better support for the types of data that will be transferred between the two ecosystems.
Until now, switching between the two ecosystems has been possible from iOS to Android by using the application Android Switch, while from Android to iOS the application is responsible for the process Move to iOS.
The new functionality which is being developed by Google & Apple, is intended to be integrated directly into both operating systems, making the entire transition from one ecosystem to the other smoother.
